Wang, Xian Rong was born on March 25, 1958 in Lanzhou, Gansu, People's Republic of China. Son of Be Weng and Zhi Zheng Wang.

Bachelor of Science, Northwestern Teacher's University, Lanzhou, 1982. Master of Science, Chinese Academy Space Technology, Beijing, 1989.

Career

Assistant professor Northwestern Teacher's University, 1982-1986. Astronautics engineer Lanzhou Institute Physics, 1989-1991, senior engineer, since 1991. Visiting scholar European Telecommunications Standards Institute Aeronauticos Laboratory De Aerodinamica Ciudad University, Madrid, since 1993.
