Education
Yabu Kozan studied Chinese classics and poetry under a clan scholarship at an early age and then studied further at Edo (now Tokyo) (1752) and Kyoto.
Career
Yabu Kozan was appointed teacher at Jishukan (clan school) (1761) and then promoted to professor (1763). Among his works are Kozan Bunko (A Collection of Kozan's Works) in two volumes and Kozan Shiko (Kozan's Poems) also in two volumes.
