Yadanji was born in 1886 in Kochi Prefecure, Japan.
In 1912 graduated from the Political Science Section, Tokyo University.
After graduation from the University became secretary to the Finance Minister. After leaving government service in 1927, he became a secretary to Osachi Hamaguchi, president of the Minseito Party. When in 1929 the Hamaguchi Cabinet was organized, he was appointed Chief Cabinet Secretary. In 1931 took the post of the Railway Councilor in the Wakatsuki Cabinet and subsequently Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Finance. Was elected to the House of Representatives six times before he was purged from public office after World War II. Reinstated in 1950. Was the managing director oi Yodogawa Seiko (Steel) Company.
