She later relocated to India, where she works and lives since 2000. Yahel’s formative years were spent exposed to the worlds of theatre, contemporary dance, literature and the arts where travels served as her backdrop of intellectual milieu. Yahel opened the Monsoon Heritage design studio in Goa, India in 2000.
The Monsoon Heritage design studio is a small designer studio settled in Goa by Yahel Chirinian.
The studio mostly employs villager women with social difficulties who are trained as assistants, receive work, health care and education. The studio style and inspiration
Monsoon Heritage creations are present in Paris, Rome, Milan, Monte Carlo, Saint Baronet, Porto Cervo, Capri, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Oman, Qatar, Dabi, New Delhi, Bombay and Goa.
Monsoon Heritage collaborates with architects and interior decorators in United States, France, Spain, Italy, Lebanon and India - including hotels, spas and lounges projects.
