1907 studied at M. I. Morskaya’s drama school in Odessa. 1913 graduate Kiev Business Institute.
Career
From 1908 actor and admin, Kishinev and Kiev theaters. After 1917 October Revol helped found new theaters and companies in provinces. 1922-1926 director, Russian and Tatar Theaters, Simferopol’.
1926-1932 director, Studio of Maly Theater. 1933-1934 assistant director, Moscow Academy Arts Theater. From 1934 deputy director, Bolshoy Theater and director of its branch.
