1904 graduate Saint St. Petersburg Military Medical Academy.
1908-1912 worked at Odessa Military Hospital, where he helped to combat plague and cholera epidemics. 1912-1914 assistant professor and senior lecturer, Chair of Hygiene, Saint St. Petersburg Military Medical Academy. After 1917 October Revol helped to organize Soviet health service and to combat typhus epidemics in Petrograd.
1920 defended doctor’s thesis on the composition of air in submarines. 1924-1940 read course on disinfection at Leningrad Military Academy. Did research on disinfectants and disinfestants (pyridine bases, polychlorides, chloranasol, ammonia, hot air, phcnol-cresol preparations, formalin).
Developed room sterilization techniques and designed a combined stationary disinfection chamber. Wrote 120 works.
