Career
1891 — 1904, together with Lysenko, helped found Ukraine choirs. 1899— 1912 directed Choir of Kiev University. 1906—1917 musical director at Ukraine theaters.
1925-1930 director, Odessa City Choir. 1930-1940 taught music in Zaporozhye. 1942-1945 director, Adyge Song and Dance Ensemble, Maykop.
