Yaowalak Traisurat

Career

Traisurat obtained a bachelor"s degree from King Mongkut"s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang where her father was a professor She"s currently studying master"s degree at King Mongkut"s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Traisurat was crowned Mission Teen Thailand 2000 and Mission Thailand Universe on March 29, 2003.

After winning the Mission Thailand Universe title, she represented Thailand in the Mission Universe 2003 pageant held in Panama but did not place.

She also came first in the Mission Photogenic Award and Mission Popular Vote Award. She has a twin sister.

Achievements

• The pageant was won by Amelia Vega of Dominican Republic. Traisurat is the only Mission Teen Thailand winner to hold the title Mission Thailand Universe. She was a major favourite by press from the very beginning and won expectedly.
