He is the candidate for the Serdang Parliamentary Seat for the 13th Malaysia"s General Election. Although already in 70"s, Yap Pian Honorary is energetic and optimistic for the upcoming General Election. Even before Serdang was a parliamentary seat Yap was the state seat holder for three terms since 1974.
One of his most famous contribution for the people of Serdang is the establishment of 1 Malaysia Clinic in the Serdang area.
The clinic would cater to almost 200,000 individual in 30 housing areas in the particular area.
