Almagor received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Milan University School of Medicine in 1981.
Almagor has been a director of Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Cardiology Laboratories at Shaare Zedek Medical Center since 1993. He also serves as an associate and co-director of the Columbus Heart Center in Milan. In addition, Yaron holds a clinical fellowship in interventional cardiology at Ichilov Hospital in Israel and at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda.
