1923-1926 studied at Vienna and 1926-1928 at Cracow University.
Active in illegal revol work. Worked for the periodical Vikna helped found Como proletarian writers’ group. 1926 member, Communist Party Poland.
1927 first work published. Helped organize 1936 L’vov Anti-Fascist Congress for the Defense of Culture. Subjected to reprisals, twice arrested (1934 and 1937).
Contributed to Polish Communist press During World War 2 with frontline newspapers and commentator, front broadcasting stations. 1945-1946 correspondent, newspaper Rodyanska Ukraina at Nuremberg Trial.
Wrote pamphlets against fascist, nationalist and clerical reaction. His works have been translated into Russian, Geo, Arm, Latin, Lith, Est and other languages:.
