Pressman started acting at the age of 5. She began doing commercials at six years old and also modeled for Avon. In 2006, She was cast in the ABS-Christian Broadcasting Network drama series Gulong ng Palad as the young Luisa before transferring to Global Media Arts Network the following year - 2007, to become one of the female dancers of SOP Fully Charged.
She showed grace in dancing even though she had no formal training in dancing.
She is known as the "Princess of the Dance Floor" of Party Pilipinas. When SOP Fully Charged was reformatted to Party Pilipinas, she became part of Sayaw Pilipinas together with Mark Herras, Sef Cadayona, Rocco Nacino, Steven Silva, Mayton Eugenio, Diva Montelaba, and Wynwyn Marquez.
In 2013, Pressman signed a contract with Viva Entertainment. In 2014, she was cast as Lorraine "Lory" Keet in the movie Diary ng Panget.
And also she was cast as Audrey Dela Cruz in the movie "Talk Back and You"re Dead".
She is currently a VJ for Music Television Pinoy and can be seen in shows like Music Television Shoutout, Music Television Halo Halo, Music Television The Office of Personnel Management Show, Music Television Senti, and Yandre"s Playlist. FHM 100 Sexiest Woman.
Pressman was included for FHM 100 Sexiest Woman for the first time at the 78th spot which tied with Louise delos Reyes which won by Marian Rivera in 2014 and in 2015 which near Julie Anne San Jose at 57th spot, Pressman has a name conflict to FHM models with the same nicknamed "Yassi", Ayissa Coo (which comapred to Ellen Adarna and Joyce Ching) and Isabelle Benitez (which comapred to former FHM model Niña Jose). She is also appeared for Candy Magazine for August 2015, dominating Summit Media for its 20th anniversary with Julie Anne San Jose for Preview and Nadine Lustre for Men"s Health Philippines on its featured babe. 2015 Yassi Pressman won the title "Hip-Hop Pa More Grand Winner" on Eat Bulaga"s New Segment "Hip-Hop Pa More" this July 2015.
