Yasui Ken entered South Manchurian Railway Company and became councilor of its Accounting Bureau. After the war, worked at the Board of Director of the Choshun Railway Company of China and then was repatriated to Japan and became secretary to the governor of Tokyo. Elected to House of Councilors once. He was former parliamentary vice-minister of Labor. Was a chairman of the Local Finance Study Society.
