Yasujird Inoue was born in Osaka.
Later conducted the Bank in Handa, Aichi Prefecture, which he re-named Inoue Bank (1895). Merged it with 130th Bank (1900). Then established the Toyo Seishi (Eastern Paper) Company, and as its manager began manufacturing paper suitable for cigarette use, thus ending the necessity of importing such paper (1906).
Yasujird Inoue was a director of several companies including Kyushu, Sanyo and Kansai railway companies and Japan Savings Bank.
