In 1920 he served as vice-manager of Yoshimachi Branch of Akaji Bank and then became chief of General Affairs Section and director of Business Department of Kisha Seizo Kaisha (Train Manufacturing Company). Then served as executive of Ise Electric Railway Company Nihon Kozai Kaisha (Japan Steel Materials Company). In 1937 Yataro Ogawa appointed senior managing director of Nihon Tekko Rengokai, 1939 - Director of Hokushi Kaihatsu Kaisha (North China Development Company). In 1942 he was a senior managing director of Tetsu-Kogyo Kaisha (Iron & Steel Industry Company). Meantime held additional posts of director of Nihon Electric Railway Company and president of Matsuo Mining Company and Bado Mining Company. In 1930 he made inspection tours of Europeand America. Served also as director of Kuzufu Mining Company, counselor of Tominaga Bussan Kaisha (Tominaga Product Company) and director of Hakodate Dock Company.
