Party work in Vitebsk and Saint St. Petersburg. After 1917 October Revol deputy secretary, Centr Council of Factory and Plant Committees, Petrograd. Then worked for All-Russian Extraordinary Commission Against Counterrevolution, Sabotage and Speculation.
From 1921 exec work for Central Committee, Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks). From 1932 research, ed and publ work.
