KVATER, Yefim was born in 1894.
Attended Medical Faculty, Zurich University. 1920 graduated Medical Faculty, Kazan University.
Board member, All-Russia Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Member, Editor Board, journal “Mcditsinsky referativny zhurnal” (Medical Abstracts Journal). Deputy Editor, “Obstetrics and Gynecology” sections, “Bolshaya meditsinskaya entsiklopediya” (Large Medical Encyclopedia), 2nd edition.
Specialist in gonorrhoea in women and the role of sex hormones in the normal and puthological menstrual cycle. Studied wartime amenorrhea. Suggested methods of hormone therapy of metrorrhagia, labor stimulation and conservative treatment of uterine myoma.
Introduced use of bis “mammofizin” preparation. Described trichomonas diseases of the urethra and the paraurethral ducts in women, etc. 1921-1930 intern, then Assistant, Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1931-1934 lecturer, 1st Moscow University.
