Graduated Literature and Philosophy Faculty, Bucharest University.

Career

1949 Deputy Chairman, Moldavia Council of Ministers. 1958 Chairman, Moldavia Union of Writers. First works published in Bessarabian left-wing press.

1940, following Soviet occupation, helped establish Soviet regime. At 1956 and 1958 Congresses of Communist Party, Mold, elected member of the Central Committee. Deputy, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1946 and 1950 convocation.

Deputy, Moldavia Supreme Soviet of 1955 convocation. Deputy and member, Commission of Public Education, Moldavia Supreme Soviet of 1959 convocation.
