Background
Based out of Singapore, Yang Yen Thaw is an entrepreneur, strategist, lawyer and CoAggregator.
He currently serves as managing director of 2iB Partners, a company that scales up and internationalizes SMEs through CoAggregation® (see https://2ibpartners.com/what-we-do/). 2iB Partners is currently engaged in the exciting world of CoAggregating companies in the Human Capital sector and taking them to the next level. Yen Thaw is also the managing director of YangWorld, a company that offers in-house legal services as well as director in a healthcare company and vice-president of a managed services company.
Prior to these positions, he had set up and run a law firm for 12 years in India; held position as executive director to a European listed company including serving as chairman to its governance regulatory audit and compliance committee; general counsel in a listed company, private equity firm and startups and been a partner in international law firms.
His over 24 years’ experience in law and management brings extensive and varied expertise in different sectors. He provides unique perspectives on application of law to international businesses. He is an innovator and has formulated and launched new initiatives such as CoAggregation and Legal Risk Management systems.
Yen Thaw has been speaker/panel moderator in China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and India on behalf of various agencies such as the Indian Embassy in China, the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and a UK private wealth organization on investment and cross-border business.
On a personal front, he emcees and speaks on general events in Singapore, received 52nd National Film Award through a BBC documentary and engages in other people-centric events.
