Yevgeniy ALEKSEEV, USSR Agronomist. Plant expert; Professor; full member, Belarusian Academy of Sciences, since 1940; full member, Belarusian Academy, of Agriculture Science, since 1957; Head, Chair of Agriculture, Pedology and Agrochemistry, All-Union Agriculture Corresp. Institute, since 1955.


ALEKSEEV, Yevgeniy was born in 1884.


1913 graduated advanced agricultural courses in St. Petersburg.


1916-1928 Director, Novozybkov Agriculture Station. 1928-1930 Professor, Belarusian Agriculture Academy, Gorky, Mogilev Oblast. 1933-1936 Professor, Gorky Higher Agriculture School.

1937-1955 Professor, Moscow Zootechn. Institute; since 1944 Professor, Institute of Fur Breeding.
