1902-1904 worked at various medical establishments in Moscow. 1905 served in RussoJapanese War as junior intern at a military hospital. 1904-1914 director, Sulkov Rural district Hospital, Minsk Province, where he specialized in general and gynecological surgery.
1911 delivered paper on distr hospital organisation at 2nd Congress of Physicians of Minsk Province. 1914-1920 military surgeon in Russia, then Red Army. From 1921 head Surgical Department and chief physician, 2nd Soviet City Hospital, Minsk.
1935-1939 associate professor, from 1939 professor and director Gynecological Clinic, Minsk Medical Institute. Remained in Minsk during German occupation and collaborated with local partisans and underground Communist organisation.
1943 arrested by German police. The 3rd Clinical Hospital and a street in Minsk are named after him.
