1918 actor, Komissarzhevskaya Theater. 1919-1920 at Moscow Pedagogical Theater. 1920-1922 at Omsk Theater.
1922 again at Pedagogical Theater. 1923-1925 at Komissarzhevskaya Theater. 1930-1936 at 2nd Moscow Academy Arts Theater.
1934-1937 simultaneously artistic director, Balashov Kolkhoz-Sovkhoz Theater. From 1937 artistic director, Chuvash Theater and Russian Drama Theater of Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Also acted in films; Roles: Chichikov in Myortvyye dushi (Dead Souls).
