Studied at Iartu University.
From 1892 in the revol movement. 1893 first arrest for revol activities. From 1896 revol work in Poltava and Khar kov.
From 1898 worked for Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party organisation in Moscow, then in Kaluga. 1905-1910 member of various rayon Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) comts in Saint St. Petersburg. 1912 secretary, Khar'kov Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) Committee.
1913 exiled to Pechera Kray and 1916 to Yakutsk Province. After 1917 February Revol released from jail, worked as secretary, Vasiliy Ostrov Rayon Party Committee and in the Cultural and Education Section, State Duma. During 1917 October Revol worked for Petrograd Military-Revol Committee.
Later in Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic People's Commissariat of Education. From 1919 in Ukraine on government work. From 1922 with the Commission for Collecting and Studying Material on Party and October Revol History, Central Committee, Communist Party Ukraine.
Author of a number of works on history’ of Ukraine Bolshevik organisation. Also wrote recollections of meeting with Lenin.
