Career
While operating Jiis own law office, joined in socialist movement. Held posts in the Zenkoku Taishu-To (The National Mass Party), Zenkoku Rono Taishu-To (The National Workers and Farmers Mass Party) and Shakai Taishu-To (The Social Mass Party) as member of the Central Executive Committees of these parties.

Yonosuke Kikuchi was a member of the Prefectural Council, he was elected to the House of Representatives five times since 1937. Chairman of the Tohoku Provincial Federation of Lawyers Associations.
