Yoo made her Women's Tennis Association tour debut at the 2009 Hansol of Korea Open, where she was given a wildcard into the singles main draw. She lost in the first round to Meghann Shaughnessy. Playing in for South of Korea, Yoo has a West/L ratio of 10–10.
