He graduated from Seoul National University for Bachelor"s degree of economics, and studied abroad at University of Wisconsin–Madison for Doctor of Philosophy in economics, especially industry organization theory.
Career
He was the floor leader for the Saenuri Party in the National Assembly. He resigned from the position in July 2015.
