Career

He was the director of four television series produced by Korean Broadcasting System that are sometimes collectively referred to as, each containing the name of one of the four seasons in its title. The series were immensely popular throughout Asia, especially Winter Sonata, and intensified a surge in popularity of Korean popular culture known as Hallyu. Joined Korean Broadcasting System in 1985 ed as senior producer/production director for Korean Broadcasting System Current president of Yoon"s Color Limited.

Achievements

Best television Director, 38th Baeksang Arts (2002) Drama Award, of Korea Broadcasting Grand Merit Award from Kinema Junbo, Japan Selected as the Person of the Year in 2004 by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Seoul Association.
