He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was sent abroad for further studies at Stockholm and Berlin universities. Since then has seen service in Sweden, Germany and Indo-China. He associated with the Japanese Embassy in Sweden and is a director of Northern Europe Cultural Association.
Has translated several European classics into Japanese including Strindberg's "Child of a Maid" and "Shocking Times."
