He developed a new method of growing tea plants after many years of hard efforts. In 1738，through Kahe famamoto, a tea merchant, Yoshihiro had his new tea tasted by a number of daimyo, all of whom praised it. YoshihiroJs method spread to the Uji District and then to all other tea-growing areas in Japan.
