Education
After finishing school at Doshisha Girls School, Yoshino Kawai attended the sewing classes at Watanabe Girls High School in Tokyo.
Career
After her marriage to Sadahisa Kawai she began taking interest in women’s education and opened a school for brides at her residence. Yoshino Kawai soon be-came popular and was known as the Queen of Ashiya Society at Hyogo Prefecture. She was an accomplished waka poet and a skillful calligraphist.
