Yoshio Kozakai went into the service of Nagoya Railways. Getting interested in labor soon became chairman of the Railway Workers' Union. Later was chairman of Japan Federation of Labor for Aichi Prefecture, vice-chairman of National Railway Federation.
Politics
Yoshio Kozakai was elected to the House of Representatives on a Socialist ticket and was chairman of Standing Committee of the Cabinet, also chief of the election program of Left-Wing Socialist Party.
