After graduating from Military Academy, completed his military education in France (1879-1882).
Yoshitada Kojima was promoted colonel and sent to Europe again (1904). For distinguished services during the Russo-Japanese War, Yoshitada Kojima was appointed a director of the military lumber mill on the coast of Yalu River, Korea, and elevated to rank of major-general(1905). Retired from service (1910) and was placed on reserve list.
