義孝 里見
Yoshitaka was born in 1512. He was the eldest son of Satomi Sanetaka.
Supporting Yosbiaki Ashikaga, he engaged the Hojo forces in battle at Konodai near Edo and was defeated (1538). Many chieftains in his two provinces changed to Hojo's side. He fought the Hojos repeatedly in subsequent years, defeating them (1554 and 1555), with the result that many in Musashi and Sagami provinces (the Edo area and Kanagawa Prefecture) submitted to his rule.
