Yoshiyuki Kanze was born in Tokyo. Real name: Takeo Nagashima.

Career

Yoshiyuki Kanze became adopted heir of Yoshiyuki Kanze which is a branch of the Tetsunojō Kanze family. Received personal instructions from his grandfather Kiyoshi Kanze and his adopted father Yoshiyuki. Succeeded to the name of Takeo Kanze (1926), and after his predecessor's death, assumed the name of Yoshiyuki II (1941). He attended the International Dramatic Festival in Italy (1954).

Achievements

• Yoshiyuki Kanze rebuilt the Yarai Noh Music Auditorium (1952).
