杨远帆
Yang currently studies with Murray McLachlan at Chetham"s School of Music. As the youngest of all finalists in the 2010 British Broadcasting Corporation Young Musician of the Year competition, his performances earned him the Walter Todds Bursary. Yang is also a prolific composer.
This piece was also awarded as one of the Highly-Commended compositions in the British Broadcasting Corporation Proms Composers Competition 2011 and was broadcast on British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 3.
Yang has won first prizes in a number of competitions including the 2010 RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition (under 19 category), 2009 Manchester International Piano Competition for Young Pianists (age 16 and under category), 2009 Chetham’s Yamaha Piano Competition and the 2009 Ryszard Bakst Chopin Prize (junior division). Yang also won both his category prize and the sole overall prize of the 2010 EPTA United Kingdom Piano Competition. His piano composition "Waves" won his category 1st Prize and the Overall Award in the EPTA United Kingdom Composition Competition 2011.
