Yuch-Ping Hsieh, American Ecology educator, chemist. Achievements include development of methods for inogranic sulfur species, methods for pool size and turnover time of stable soil organic matter, method for surface erosion measurement in croplands; research in using clay mineralogy to trace sources of erosion in watersheds, nutrients and sulfur cycling in wetlands, dynamics of soil organic matter.
