Career
He works in a variety of media and often references consumer culture alongside traditional craft techniques. An example of his art is the series of McDonalds and high-end designer store bags into which Teruya cuts intricate tree shapes that are then pushed through into the interior of the bag, creating an enclosed environment within. Selected solo exhibitions.
