Entered Bank of Japan and served at its Osaka Branch. Later became president of Kanazawa Chochiku (Savings) Bank, director of Nihonkai Electric Co., auditor of Kokoku Jinken-Parupu (Rayon & Pulp) Company and Fujikoshi Steel Materials Industry Company and supervisor of Hokuriku Electric Power Distribution Company. Became president of hokuriku Bank (since 1949) and auditor of Hokuriku Electric Power Company (1951).
