Yukinobu Kiyohara

Background

Niece of Tanyu Kano, she modeled her paintings after him and came to be considered the most distinguisned woman painter of the Kano school. Her masterpieces were pictures of the Tang Dynasty of China. Her daughter, Haru- nobu, was also a skilled painter.
