Okaido Yukio was a chief of Agricultural Research Institute, Fukushima Prefecture (1917). Later he was agricultural expert to Ministry of Agriculture and Foresty, then instructor at Kyoto University to eventually become president of Mie University (1949). In between be was sent on official business to China and Mongolia (1936) and then to Europe and America (1939).
