Yukio Togawa entered Mainichi Shimbun (newspaper) (1937). Transferred to Sun Shashin Shimbun (Sun Pictorial News) (1946) and became chief of its Shakai-bu (Local News Section) (1950). Transferred to Tokyo Nichinichi Shimbun (newspaper) (1952) and became chief of its Local News Section and thereafter became vice-chief of Editorial Department of Mainichi Graph magazine of Mainichi Shim-bun (since 1953). Books include Tokyo Denki Meguri (Biographical Review of the Tokyoites).
