Education

1905 graduated Marine Engineering School. 1910 graduated Naval Academy.

Career

Helped organize Naval Engineering School, now Dzerzhinsky Naval Engineering School, in Leningrad. 1933-1953 corresponding member, USSR Academy of Science. Director, All-Union Science Engineering and Technology Society of Shipbuilders.

Design engineer in shipyards of Revel (now Tallinn), Riga and St. Petersburg. 1912 directed technican reconstruction of naval ship-repair yard at Kronshtadt. Adviser, Technology Inspection, Naval Headquarters.
