Counselor, 1st deputy head information department Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Foreign Ministry, 1968-1978, vice chairman Commission for United Nations Educational, 1978-1982, head information department, 1982-1986, head department cultural and humanitarian relations, 1986-1989, deputy vice minister foreign affairs, 1989-1990, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Warsaw, Poland, since 1990.
