Yuri Fedorovich studied at the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute (now Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University), the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute.
Career
Yuri Fedorovich worked as an editor in the Voronezh book publishing house, in the editorial office of the journal "Ascent". He lived for a long time in the city of Borisoglebsk. Published since 1952. Tretyakov’s works, designed primarily for teenage readers, were published in the magazine "Bonfire", "Pioneer", "Children's Literature", "Rise".
