KOBYLETSKY, Yuriy was born in 1906 in Zvenigorodka, now Cherkassy Oblast.
1934 graduated Kiev University.
Worked at a tannic extracts factory, then as an electrical fitter. During his university studies was Director, workers’ evening school (workers' faculty), and Secretary, Communist Youth League Organ, of Public Education Instructors. Propagandist, Kiev City Committee, Ukrainia Communist Youth League.
Editor, newspaper “Molody bilshovyk” (Young Bolshevik). During World War II Editor, “Ukraina” State Publ. House; since 1942 directed a special group of this publications house which operated on the Southwestern Front.
After World War II worked for some time at Kiev University.
