Lives n Voronezh since 1969. Participant of city, regional, zonal, all-Russian, all-Union, foreign exhibitions since 1968. The Artist of advertising plant of regional consumer Union (1969-1970), Voronezh branch of the Art Fund of the RSFSR (since 1972). Works in the field of easel painting and graphics, monumental and decorative art (wall painting, stained glass), carving and painting on wood. Author of picturesque composite portraits of Igor Talkov "Ya vernus’" (1999), Sergei Yesenin "Russkaya dusha" (2004), religious subjects ("Videniya na Mitrofanovoy gore", 2003), landscapes, still lifes, as well as graphic works: "Hram" (1966), "Ostrogozhsk. Ulitsa Kramskogo" (1986) and others.
In 1995, 2000, 2005 personal exhibitions of Zolotarev took place in the exhibition hall of the Union of artists, in 2002-2003 in the city of Bobrov, Liski, Novokhopersk, Pavlovsk, Voronezh region and Lipetsk.
