Graduated from Takanawa Buddhism College (1903).
Career
Yusho Tokushi was appointed chief editor of Great Dictionary of Buddhism (1914), director of the Ryu-koku University Library (1920), and emeritus professor of the university (1947). Received the doctorate degree (1950). Works: "The History of Oriental Culture" and "The History of Buddhism." Also wrote on history of printing and paper.
