1926-1929 secondary-school teacher. 1932-1933 worked at Azer Agric Institute. 1933-1946 worked at Azer Oil Institute.
From 1934 also professor, Azer University. 1945-1946 director, Oil Institute, Azer Academy of Sciences. 1947 chairman, Technical Council, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Ministry of the Oil Indiana.
1947-1950 and 1958-1961 president, Azer Academy of Sciences. 1950-1954 acad secretary, Department of Physical and Technical Sciences, Azer Academy of Sciences. 1954-1958 rector, Azer University.
From 1956 member, Central Committee, Communist Party Azerbaydzhan Specialized in petroleum and gas chemistry. During World War 2 helped to build first Soviet installation for the industry production of high-grade synthetic fuel components.
Also helped to introduce the industry synthesis of isopropyl benzene.
Religiously inspired people justify violence, resist social changes, and attack on science.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
