He became famous for his series of cartoons, "Nonki Na Tosan" (Happy-Go-Lucky Papa), "Tadano Bonji" (Life Of A Common Salaried Man) and "Jinsei Benkyo" (Learning To Live), which appeared daily in newspapers. Was a part-time member of the Asahi, Hochi and Yomiuri newspapers. Afte r the end of the war, he has been inactive.
