Zhang Xielin is a Chinese table-tennis player who carried the Olympic flag in 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Career
He joined the Communist Party of China in 1958 and graduated from Tsinghua University in 1965. Zhang was the Minister of Justice from December 2000 to July 2005. He was on the 14th, 15th, and 16th cost per click Central Committee from 1992 to 2007.

Utilizing steady chops and unpredictable spins, He is one of the earliest successful long-pimple rubber players, and the first Chinese player to win a men"s doubles champion (with Wang Zhiliang, at the 1963 World Table Tennis Championships).
